Davidson’s Mountain Copper Oolong (Loose Leaf special grade FTGFOP1) offers a robust, wine-like base with a buttery finish, harvested at the peak of 2nd flush season in June/July.

Origin:

Davidson’s Mountain Copper Oolong is sourced from family tea farms in India. During a recent visit to one of the organic tea farms, Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, took this shot of the farmers on their way out to the tea plants in the early morning.

Ingredients:

Organic oolong tea.

Brewing:

  1. Heat fresh, filtered water just short of the boiling point.
  2. Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
  3. Pour the heated water into the mug.
  4. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
  6. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

if you love tea, but not the bitterness of darker roasts this is your tea. I grew up avoiding black tea because all I knew was my mom's over-steeped style of english breakfast tea. As an adult I was introduced to lighter roasts,but had a hard time finding them consistently until I found Davidson's Mountain Copper Oolong. It is simply delicious.

This is a wonderful everyday tea, balanced flavors and good repeat steeps. For some reason Amazon started charging over $100/lb for this, so buying direct from Davidson's is the best option!

Good quality tea, shipped quickly, forgiving brew. Very nice dark liquid. I was enticed by the description of "buttery" but find it very aromatic and flowery, not my style. If you want a more savory roast flavor this isn't for you - go try the Quilan China Oolong (big fan).
