Licorice Chai (Loose Leaf) is an adaptogenic blend that combines rooibos with licorice root and chai spice.

Taste:

Davidson's Licorice Chai (Loose Leaf) carries a subtle, earthy flavor with a sweet, spicy finish.

Origin:

Davidson's sources its organic rooibos from South Africa. Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, recently visited our rooibos small farmer and had the opportunity to experience the full process of cultivating organic rooibos. During his visit, he captured this incredible shot of an Eland roaming near the rooibos farm.

Ingredients:

Organic rooibos, organic cardamom, organic anise seed, organic licorice root and natural flavor.

Brewing:

  1. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
  2. Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
  3. Pour the heated water into the mug.
  4. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
  6. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

I've tried to spice this tea up but sadly, there's no redeeming it. This tea lacks any kind of spice/heat. I'm very disappointed in this blend. It lacks flavor of any sort, really. No matter how long I steep it or how many teaspoons of the tea I add, I can't get much flavor out of it.
