South African Green Rooibos is rooibos or red tea that is unfermented.

Taste:

Davidson's South African Green Rooibos offers a light, earthy flavor profile, much milder than that of traditional rooibos.

Origin:

Davidson's sources its organic rooibos from South Africa. During a recent trip to visit our rooibos farmer, Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, had the opportunity to experience each phase in the rooibos production process. Notice the green coloring of the green rooibos in the picture to the left.

Ingredients:

Organic green rooibos.

Brewing:

  1. Bring fresh water to a boil.
  2. Add one tea bag to one 8oz cup of hot water.
  3. Allow the tea bag to steep for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove and strain the tea bag.
  5. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

I am sensitive to caffeine, so I had to find a decaf tea to use as iced tea every day. This tea is perfect! It tastes so fresh, is organic, and perfect for my iced tea! If you dislike red rooibos (personally, I do not care for it), please try this. You will love it! And it makes great iced tea. I even brew it at room temperature.
